Welcome to the Rotary Club of St. Leonards-on-Sea website, where you can find out who we are and what we do.

Since it received its charter in 1963 the Rotary Club of St.Leonards-on-Sea has supported a variety of local community projects and charities. St. Michael`s Hospice and the local R.N.L.I.have been the main beneficiaries of our annual Cycle Challenge which we have been organising since 1987.

But Rotary is not just about fund raising. Throughout the year we enjoy a program of events which includes Club Dinners, Guest Speakers, Quizzes, Rallies, BBQ's and Social Trips locally and abroad. We are a fully inclusive, active, friendly and welcoming club to all. If anyone would like to know more about our Club and the aims of Rotary we will be very pleased to hear from you.

President`s Message

Darryl Johnston

As President of the St Leonards-on-Sea Rotary Club , I’m excited about the challenges for the year 2019-2010.  Last year we raised over £12,000 for charities, much of that for local causes , although we also helped with international disaster support. This year we hope to improve on that. How do we do it ? By running events and collections locally , having fun and working hard. None of that would be possible without the wonderful public support we receive. Thanks.
Each year a portion of our money goes to the President’s charity. This year my charity is The Sara Lee Trust. Like many people, I thought that I would never need to use the facilities, until my wife Stella passed away with cancer last year. The counselling support for me and therapeutic massage for my wife were invaluable. I also know that the money is well spent with this local charity.
If you would like to join us on our journey at St Leonards-on-Sea this year, find out how, by contacting our secretary. You will be warmly welcomed.
